I am very satisfied with this facility for my husband, and I certainly don’t want to take any chances. It's a family-oriented place, and you feel that you are not in an institution. They are rated highly, and so I think they are pretty good. Brook Grove is an old place, but it's very comfortable. I like mainly the fact that they will definitely help you when you have to get into Medicaid. The rooms are beautiful, very large, and very comfy.

You’ll hear it in the cheerful birdsong, the gentle breeze and the peaceful absence of city noise. You’ll feel it in the welcoming, friendly manner of happy people who thrive in a gracious quality of life. Their staff was somewhat friendly, but they didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I looked around for their business license or credentials, but I didn't see it displayed anywhere.

We didn't pay for her stay, it was all paid by Medicare. Brooke Grove did receive those troubling health complaint inspections in August 2015, and January 2016. But it has received no federal fines or denials of payment for the past three years. Our nursing home attorneys have long maintained that average is not good enough.

My mom was in Brooke Grove Nursing and Rehab Center. It was a nice place, and they helped my mom get back on her feet. They taught her how to do diabetes care and things like that. It was very clean, and it was really appealing. It was set back from the road, and a farmland looking area. She had a private room with a shared bathroom.
There's no way I'll ever be back to this provider. I was scared I was going to catch something just from being there. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. It was one of the worst experiences of my life.
